Sophos's Naked Security Blog is always covering the internet security field and also giving us useful advises and tips for exploring the big cum sometimes dangerous world of Internet. And the team has also shared a warning for Smartphone Internet Users. Hope you all have known that Instagram is now of Facebook. At the time, Fake Instagram Apps Are Spreading All Over Android Devices With Malware.

Of course this incident is showing the massive presence of Malicious Android App Developers who developed such Application in a time of a few weeks. The Instagram App was launched just a few weeks ago and hit 1 Million Downloads in 24 Hours. Malware authors are distributing malware disguised as the popular app and there are a few pretty convincing fakes around that might trick the unsuspecting app shopper. The Malicious application is found on separate websites rather than Google Play.
Sophos adds the following after downloading and testing the Fake Instagram Apps among with saying that if you download anything for your Android device that is not from the official Google Play store and you don’t know what you’re doing, then you run the risk of all sorts of nasty happening to your phone or tablet.

In our tests, the app didn’t do a very good job of emulating the genuine Instagram app, but that may be because it failed to find the correct network operator. Because this is a malicious app that seems to be relying in the sending of background SMS messages to earn its creators revenue.

Curiously, contained inside the .APK file is a random number of identical photos a man.
Maybe the reason why his picture is included multiple times is to change the fingerprint of the .APK in the hope that rudimentary anti-virus scanners might be fooled into not recognising the malicious package. We have no idea who the man is or whether there is a reason why his picture has been chosen to include in the download.

Nowadays, the spreading of malicious Android Apps are increasing day by day since android is being a popular mobile device platform among the tech world. Sophos's Security Team had also noted that a fake version of Angry Birds game was also being spread throughout the internet and making android devices Malicious.
Malware creators are certainly savvy and know what we will be looking for when it comes to the latest and most fashionable apps. Take care to check where your applications are coming from whether they are free or paid, what they access from your mobile device, and also do some research on those apps to find out the real aim behind the Application. Again saying beware of Internet while also being addicted of it.

Finally, Google's Agent has dominated in China too. The mentioned agent is non other than Android, The Most Famous Mobile Device Platform Developed By Google. According to the latest news, Google’s Android operating system (OS) is now the most popular smartphone platform in China. The analyze is in a period of from the first quarter to fourth quarter of 2011.

Android’s share of sales more than doubled, according to Analysis, to rise to 68.4 percent from 33.6 percent. And the rise is while Apple has lose it's share 5.7% to 4.1%. And of course Android is now China’s most popular smartphone operating system, taking the top spot from Nokia. Nokia had a share of 18.7% through their Symbian Powered Devices. And the sudden death in Nokia's Symbian Platform is little bit sad.

While Symbian's Demise is a fact, The dominance of Android is not surprising because the growth is seen in Other countries including India. The Mobile Platform has been providing nice and useful features through it's interconnected systems and also makes companies to manufacture Affordable Devices for users. A device like the iPhone can cost upwards of $790 (RNB 5,000) in China, making other options attractive to many. And there is needless to describe about Android since it is being much familiar to us day by day.

The argumented Reality Glasses By Google is now official. The Project named 'Project Glass Technology' has been published officially by Search Engine Giant, Google. Still the glasses are not available for sail but Google will test this new technology in Public. Google is to provide some Smartphone like features through this device powered with Android OS. The device will be almost equivalent to a smartphone in your hands.

As shared on Google Plus Post, employees in the company laboratory known as Google X, including Babak Parviz, Steve Lee and Sebastian Thrun, asked people for input about the prototype of Project Glass. Mr. Lee, a Google product manager and originally worked on Google mapping software Latitude, mobile maps and indoor maps, is responsible for the software component and the location-based aspects of the glasses.

This Glasses were featured in Tech Blogs in last February. The people familiar with the Google glasses said they would be Android-based, and will include a small screen that will sit a few inches from someone’s eye. They will also have a 3G or 4G data connection and a number of sensors including motion and GPS. And the source also says that Google will be manufacturing this device to sell in low price while the rate of smartphones are increasing day by day. “They let technology get out of your way. If I want to take a picture I don’t have to reach into my pocket and take out my phone; I just press a button at the top of the glasses and that’s it.” One person said who used this glasses. As said before launching and pricing about this awesome venture hasn't been revealed yet.

What Are Reality Glasses ?

Reality Glasses are the Android Powered Spectacles Like Device that are being manufactured and developed By Internet Giant, Google. These Android Powered Device will be actually like a smartphone internally rather than it's shape of Spectacles. One Google employee said the glasses would tap into a number of Google software products that are currently available and in use today, but will display the information in an augmented reality view, rather than as a Web browser page like those that people see on smartphones. And the device will have GPS, Sensor, Camera and more.

Babak Parviz, who is working on Project Glass, developed contact lenses with pixels embedded in the display.

A Video about these glasses were published by Google in last Wednsday and you can see A man wanders around the streets of New York City, Communicating With Friends, seeing maps and information, and Snapping Pictures. It concludes with him Video-Chatting with a girlfriend as the sun sets over the city. All of this is seen through the augmented-reality glasses. So you can communicate with your friends, snap pictures, view map of place that you are travelling through and many more that is can be done by a Smartphone.

As said before, The glasses will send data to the cloud and then use things like Google Latitude to share location, Google Goggles to search images and figure out what is being looked at, and Google Maps to show other things nearby, the Google employee said. “You will be able to check in to locations with your friends through the glasses,” they added. And so many features like said before is available in those glasses. Some screenshots Are Given Below.

And these updates in technology is showing of course the rapid and awesome growth of Technology into places that can't be folded in our thoughts. Anyway best of luck for google to develop this glass more powerfully and to provide a Smartphone resemblance to device with low price. The New York Times suggested they could cost between $250-$500

According to the latest reports By Reuters and WSJ, The Tech Giant Google Is To Open An Online Tablet PC Store thus making a huge opportunity to sell Tablet computers through online.

Details of the project remain unclear, including when Google plans to unveil the online store. Google is also expected to release the next version of its Android software, called Jelly Bean, in the middle of this year. The Internet search company will sell co-branded tablets directly to consumers through an online store like rivals Apple and Amazon.com Inc.
So through this online store, Google is in order to sell Tablet Computers directly to costumers thus making it used by more people. Even variety of Android Tablets are seen in our Tech World, non of them are enough to compete with Apple's Tablet Computers. Low Number of Apps optimized for Tablets is a problem of Android while Apple is rich in that case. And let us see how could this move effect the Tablet Manufacturing side of Google.

Are you a Android Lover as well as Android Apps ? So sorry for you if you are still grabbing a 2G Network with Slooow Internet when compared to others. Now you have to jump to a Wi-Fi connection to Download your Favorited Android Apps.

An Announcement By Android Team At Google is the basis of our preference because Android has now Broken down the File Size Limit Of 50 MB By Shifting it to a Big 4 GB Size. This news has a double face. Through this, Developers are happy because they can leave their tension about App's Size limit when Developing an Android Powered Application(I Think they will not do so because they must be knowing the user's attitude to download such big Application) But in other case, Its a sad news for Users who have been using slow internet.

According to the announcement, developers will now be able to attach two additional extra files to their apps with a filesize limit of 2GB each. That means that apps could now become as big as 4GB and change. The team officially said that

"Android applications have historically been limited to a maximum size of 50MB. This works for most apps, and smaller is usually better — every megabyte you add makes it harder for your users to download and get started. However, some types of apps, like high-quality 3D interactive games, require more local resources."

As per the post, Android team is expecting a lot of Android Apps which will include 3D Graphics, Audio and Video support such Letting Those Apps To Be Interactive. Users will get a notification when they try to download a big Sized Application for which is to get into a fast Internet Connection if they are not in such one.

The action is non other than great but think that this will stuck some Android devices when Downloading those big Apps. Hope it may not initiate a trend of app developers bloating their wares with unnecessary files or skipping out on optimizing files for the best mobile performance. The Next statistics report Of Android App Downloads will prove Whether the Action is right or not. Whatever it is, this action will force Mobile Device manufacturers to Upgrade their device's Internal Memory.

Android has now become the Most Dominating and Most Popular Mobile Web Browser by overtaking other one, Opera Mini. now the Google-owned operating system is the owner of the mobile Web’s most used browser as per the stats from StatsCounter. The chart (click to enlarge), which plots the use of mobile Internet browsers over the last twelve months, shows significant growth from Android, which had only just overtaken BlackBerry to fourth place one year ago.

Opera, which is particularly popular in Africa and Asia, sits in second and the firm will look to increase its share with the newly released Developer Beta Version of its popular Opera Mini Browser, aimed at giving users a more advanced and social mobile Web experience. Even the Android is of Google, Google's famous and Intelligent Browser Google Chrome for Android hasn't get a nice place in this stats.

Other interesting trends see BlackBerry’s share of Web browsing continue to plummet, while Nokia has also seen its browser account for less Web browsing over the period. And the stats are enough to remark that Android is growing massively and, if not now, it is soon likely to be the mobile Web’s most used browser.

Yesterday in MWC, Spanish telco Telefónica had launched a service called 'Dual Persona' which is going to be launched soon. Dual Persona is a service which enables you to Make Two Interfaces- Business and Personal- on your Smartphone. Those two interfaces can be used at same time as the name symbolizes.

Dual Persona creates two interfaces on your mobile phone – a corporate one, controlled by your employer, and a private one, which your company can’t access. 60 % Of corporate companies are now allowing employees to bring and use their Smartphones and Tablet PCs for work-related activities, as the part of trend known as BYOD – ‘Bring Your Own Device’. But this system may be comfortable for all workers as well as more useful.

The influence of Dual Persona can be perfectly seen in these type of situations. When 'Dual Persona' is there in that employee's Smartphone, he could split his device to two equal parts for Business and Personal Each. Personal Interface will be controlled by the user as well as the other Interface will be under control of Cloud Server of that Corporate Company which makes an Encrypted and Isolated Connection.
Thus Employee can get Business and Personal notification at same even those are in different interfaces. While the service is commercialized as Telefónica Dual Persona service and its part of the telco's Cloud Computing offering, it is powered by the cloud solutions provider VMWare.

Dual Persona's Actual Concept
The aim of Two companies are non other than IT Corporates where Dual Persona can perform as a medicine against headache of companies for providing their team a better Mobile Workshop.Pricing and countries where the service will first launch remain to be confirmed. hope that Samsung Galaxy S III Will be the primary device with this service. According to Telefónica and VMWare, Samsung is expected to offer service compatibility with all of its devices in the coming months. As for platforms, Dual Persona is currently compatible with Android only.

The latest news says that Intel is trying to make a milestone in the Mobile World as well as their domination in Processors and Computer Accessories. At MWC, Intel along with Orange is Announcing A New Device Code Named 'Santa Clara' Which is the first Intel Handset in Europe as well as own branded Mobile Device of Orange in Europe.

Orange says that the official name and price of its new device will be revealed later this year, when the phone actually comes to the market. Still some notable specifications has been revealed. This device will be running on Android Gingerbread and may upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.and it will be looking to make a mark mainly by selling itself as an “affordable” smartphone — part of the growing trend that we are seeing to offer cheap, but still high-end, devices.

Orange’s deputy VP of devices, Patrick Remy, calls the plan a “democratization” of the smartphone trend, and its main aim is to target those who can only “afford the entry level of contract tariff plans.” This is an important and probably smart move by the carrier, owned by France Telecom: Yes, Orange has operations in some of the more advanced mobile markets in the world, such as the UK and France, but it also has significant operations in emerging markets, too, in regions like Africa.

When analyzing Intel Smartphone's usual Design and Power of Atom Z2460 Processor, This device is expected to support HSPA+ (no LTE in the UK and France yet) — also using Intel Technology. The two companies claim this will give the phone Impeccable Battery Life while maintaining fast performance. It will also offer High Definition Video And Audio Support, and an 8 Mega Pixel camera

Its very interesting and funny while analyzing the data which is recently published by Google. Its get more importance since the report is about famous mobile Operating System Android

The latest report states that Android Gingerbread(v2.3.3 - v2.3.7) is dominating the all Android Handsets by 58% of presence. But Ice Cream Sandwich which means Android 4.0 has only included in 1% of Android devices. The data was taken in a two week period ending February 1, during which Google measured and analysed visitors to its Android Market.

Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt took a different approach to the issue, however, when he said that the different flavors give greater choice to mobile owners. This variation is one factor that Schmidt thinks will see Android become developers’ number one choice ahead of iOS by June this year. Still Google has provided no about number of devices to get this report. ICS was launched expecting a big number of users and popularity but this news is making ICS lovers a little bit sad.

Android Market is now at 40,0000 Apps which is developed by 10000 Active app developers. And this hit is due to the addition of 10,0000 apps in previous four months. As per the Report of Distimo, Google's Android market has achieved it's double size since April 2011. And the allowing of unlimited apps is the reason for this growth.

Statistics Of Android Apps By Distimo
According to Distimo's report, free applications make up roughly two-thirds of all available apps on the platform, having grown month over month from 60% in April to 68% at the end of December. Distimo has posted noting that Google needed an additional two months to reach the 400,000 mark. With Apple reaching 200,000 apps in 22 months and the Android Market requiring 31 months, the Google marketplace needed only four months to pass 300,000 apps, whilst Apple needed eight months. When Listening to Distimo's report, the Android Market is also closing in on another milestone; 100,000 active developers. But the number of average app per month has fell down from 5 to 4. The company also says that the number of apps in the Android Market were active at the time and excluded removed or deleted apps.

Another tablet PC that enabling students to enter the world of Internet and computing is getting ready in the backstage of Indian education and technology field. The coming tablet is named as Classpad and is being developed by Classteacher learning systems. Classpad is expected to be available at a rate of $140 which is a little costly than the previous announced Ubislate and Aakash.
Classpad
Aakash tablet's aim was to make students aware about internet and computing and so it had no much features which makes a tablet PC famous But Classpad is trying to dedicate itself for education and students. Classpad tablet, which is meant for students between 3 and 12, comes with a capacitive touchscreen, 1.3 GHz processor, Android 2.2 operating system and a built-in memory of 4 GB which is expandable up to 8 GB. Classpad has a battery life of more than 6 hours which is much high when compared to Aakash. Classpad will be available for students as Classpad 7, Classpad 8, Classpad 10 etc. according to their standard of study.
Rohit Pande, chief executive officer, Classteacher Learning Systems said, "Our core area of expertise are education related material and through Classpad we wanted to bring students to the information highway.” Pande also said that "Within one month we start booking tablets for the masses and it will be have better configuration.” And i am waiting for this tablet PC for entering in India.

When according to the news published on Korea Times, LG is going to launch their second Intel powered smartphone in the coming CES 2012. An Android device running on Intel's Moorestown processor was announced on the last CES. But the device had to face so many problems and it was absolutely scrapped. And so the hopes for this device is also not stable. Intel’s next-generation Medfield system-on-a-chip, and its more pretty when compared to NVIDIA's Tegra 2 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon MSM8260 SoCs. Last CES was not much good for LG Smartphones and let us see what this CES will give.

Just about an hour we had posted about Android and iOS's growth in this christmas week. And this post is a elaboration of that news as per the post of Andy Rubin , there were 3.7 million android device activations across christmas week.

The boost in Activations has had a knock-on effect on the Android Market, with the marketplace passing 10 billion downloads earlier this month. However, users are averaging 53 apps per device, which is still short of 83 on the iPhone. Anyway Good luck for Android And Google.
