   Nick Dorra, Animation Head Of Rovio has revealed at MIPTV conference in Cannes, France that that the Rovio is to Launch a Weekly Angry Birds Animation Series.


     Plan for this series was introduced earlier this year. And more details about this plan has been revealed now. 52 episodes are to be produced in-house, each around 3 minutes in length, starting in fall this year. The Finnish firm plans to launch an app to distribute the series through. Anyhow the firm will take a deep look into partnerships in order to grab high level of audience to this distribution. 

    Dorra said that its existing Angry Birds animations, some of which have clocked up tens of thousands of views, are a great way to connect with existing fans, and important for acquiring new fans. “Animation in the forefront of what we’re doing with our brand,” he noted. 


 Rovio has been grabbing attention of Tech world in these days by their latest project Angry Birds Space and it's Rapid popularity. The firm is now also stepping into the animation fields. So we could see Rovio as a graphic Giant soon.
