Are you a Windows Phone user ? Then, what about getting Windows 8 for working in your Smartphone ? No more question marks anymore. Microsoft Spokerman has said That All Windows Phone Users Will Get Windows 8 Update (Appolo Update) Soon whatever your device is. Which means all Windows Phone users will have to run Appolo Update very soon.

The Information had come out by an Microsoft spokesperson, at an Event in Portugal. Here’s the transcript,WMPowerUser. The conversation is like as follows,

Q: In terms of devices, who today have one is it expectable that…

A: What Microsoft said/stated and what I’m allowed to tell you is that all actual devices will get upgrade to the next major version of Windows Phone (we´re talking about Apollo)

Q: When you say actual devices. Are all that came out to market?

A: Are all that came out. Since the first generation that were bought. The LGs and SAMSUNGs.. OMNIA 7 which were the first devices with Windows Phone reaching the market.

There is no other reason for this update except Microsoft want to satisfy their customers when considering the features of device that they are using. Because when new Windows Phone devices will get the power of Windows 8, Old devices may go backward in case of Features. But i have a small doubt will Windows 8 run on all devices through this Appolo Update ? Anyway let us wait.

Update : Now The Verge has claimed that the news mentioned above is absolutely false and they added that:

Now, a trusted source close to Microsoft tells us that is absolutely not the case, that instead there will be no upgrade path from Mango to Apollo.

One thing is clear for sure, all the 100,000 apps that will be in Windows Phone Marketplace when Windows Phone 8 launches will be able to run on the platform without any modifications.
Now we are not able to take a constant decision in this case. Because no one in Windows Phone Team of Microsoft has shown their comments on this issue. So wait for their comments or the real involvement of Microsoft.
