Bharti Airtel Is Launching TD LTE 4G Services In Kolkata Later This Month. The words came from Sanjay Kapoor himself, CEO of telecom giant Bharti Airtel. The firm had Reported to launch 4G Services in March. Reliance Communications was more expected to launch 4G Services more than Bharati Airtel.
The Indian Telecom Giant has also said that it has roped in telecom equipment maker ZTE to manage its fourth generation (4G) technology based network in Kolkata. ZTE Corporation has been selected by the company to to plan, design, supply and deploy its 4G network in Kolkata, which will allow its subscribers to experience high-speed wireless internet access, a statement said.
"According to industry estimates, by 2016, six per cent of all mobile connections will have 4G connection, which would create 36 per cent of the total mobile data traffic, thus paving way for the ensuing data revolution," : Bharti Airtel CEO (India and South Asia) Sanjay Kapoor said. Bharti Airtel has already awarded the contract for building and operating its 4G network in Maharashtra to Nokia Siemens Networks. And of course 4G LTE services will provide users some awesome features and facilities such to mobilize their digital world.
Still the date of 4G Network has not been revealed. It has just reported "Later this month". Anyway we are waiting for 4G Services to reach our region rather than Kolkata Soon.
