Days before in that company's educational event, they had announced their new version of their venture and the version is able to rule the web's parts. This post is about  Apple's iBookstore. In the mentioned event Apple had announced its new iBooks 2 platform, new textbook features and other iPad Based services for students.

This education based project is rocking even it is in primary stage. As per the latest report, 350,000 textbooks have been downloaded from iBookstore in 3 days period. The company also notes that Apple saw more than 90,000 downloads of its iBook Author tool via the Mac App Store, over the same three-day period.

In this store Apple offered free downloads of  "E.O. Wilson’s Life on Earth", "Algebra 1", "Biology", "Chemistry", "Environmental Science", "Geometry and Physics", hosting them in the new Textbook category in the iBookstore. According to Global Equities Research, the supply chain markup on textbooks ranges between 33 percent and 35 percent. So there’s savings to be had in cutting out that publisher-to-distributor-to-wholesaler-to-retailer process.
Global Equities Research also states that that iPad-focused titles will cost 80% less to produce, providing the "recipe for Apple’s success in the textbook industry.”. Anyway its a well contribution of Apple for meeting Technology And Education get together.
