Today Dell has released that they are planning to launch Their first Consumer Tablet in this year. According to Reuters report, this venture is planned to be get launched in late 2012. According to COO Steve Felice, At CES 2012

When we introduce the products, they will be consumer products, but we are going to make sure that they are very compatible with the business marketplace, which we don’t think Apple has addressed.
There’s lot of use in the commercial sector that requires security and more compatibility, and I think we will be able to address that in a better way.
        No details including name of Dell's tablet is not yet revealed. This device is expected to be run in Windows 8 OS or Android. This choice will be assured by their words, “choice-driven, based on the feedback we get from customers”.
