 The wait is finally over. Global Chip Maker, Intel in partnership with Indian Mobile Device Manufacturer, Lava has announced their smartphone 'Xolo X900.' And Xolo X900 is the the first smartphone in India, Powered by Intel's Atom Z2460, which is the fastest (mobile phone) processor available in the market: Said Lava Co-Founder and Director Vishal Sehgal 


  Xolo X900 will be available in Indian Mobile Phone Market from 23 April for a best buy price or 22,000 Rupees. The phone is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom processor with Hyper Threading Technology that, according to the companies, brings speed and multi-tasking performance. The phone features a 4.03-inch High Resolution LCD display and an 8 Megapixel Camera. The Xolo X900 runs Android 2.3, and you can upgrade it to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The device comes with a 400 MHz Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) which can click up to 10 pictures in less than one Second.


  Sehgal added that the company is also working on "value smart phones", which would be launched soon in the sub Rs 15,000 price range. But he didn't reveal more about those devices. The partnership between Lava and Intel was announced at Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona. Lava has also partnered with Croma as preferred retail partner for promotion and sale of the product. 


 The smartphone market in India is around 20 million, and as Sehgal said, its a tremendous place for both Lava and Intel to grow up their Mobile World with such affordable and useful Smartphone Devices. Of course Intel is starting their journey cum expansion to the world of mobile devices through Launch of This Amazing smartphone with awesome power of Intel's processors. And so let us expect a large and sudden growth of Intel in India  after going to dominate the mobile device side as well.
