Hope you are familiar with the mentioned, 'Download Your Information' Tool in Facebook. The feature was included in Facebook back in 2010 which allows users to obtain a copy of photos, posts, messages, a list of friends and chat conversations.

Today, Facebook has updated this tool hence increasing the depth of data that can be downloaded from Facebook. The new feature is like how Facebook describes in their Privacy Page.

Now you can access additional categories of information, including Previous Names, Friend Requests you’ve made and IP Addresses you logged in from. This feature will be rolling out gradually to all users and more categories of information will be available for download in the future. Download Your Information is available from your Facebook Account Settings.

As it describes, you could gather your history in Facebook through this tool in deep size. Of course these types of data will let you know whether your account has been accessed by anonymous users or hacked. Facebook says that it will roll out the update to its ‘Download Your Information’ gradually, adding more data to it in the near future. Currently this tool can be used to hold a copy of exclusive information that may have been shared on the social network (Nowadays, Facebook is professional and personal for someone And so protecting your data is also important sometimes.)

Still the Social Networking Giant notices in their posts that A Facebook User Can't download friends’ photos or status updates or other people’s personal information. Users will also not be able to backup comments they have made on other people’s posts.  And this update is very useful and nice as well.
