Blogging and sharing service provider Posterous has recently announced that the ownership of company has been transferred to Twitter through official Blog Post meanwhile Twitter has Acquired Posterous. Various Posterous engineers, product managers and more will join the Twitter team and Posterous Spaces will remain up and running without disruption.

Twitter adds that it will give users ‘ample notice’ if it is going to make any changes to the service. If this blog was running on Posterous i must had shut down my account and move to another. In the post welcoming Posterous team to Twitter, Twitter remarks that its acquisitions of ‘people and technology’ have enabled it to make the service better. The Team of Posterous is awesomely talented when the Former Sachin Agarwal has worked in Apple before the formation of Posterous and a fabulous team of 36 Engineers will also join Twitter through this acquisition. Which means Twitter is aiming a big deal and huge hire through this.

Former of Posterous, Sachin Agarwal said that “the opportunities in front of Twitter are exciting, and we couldn’t be happier about bringing our team’s expertise to a product that reaches hundreds of millions of users around the globe.” He has something for long time users too "especially those who have been with Posterous since day one. The last four years have been an amazing journey. Your encouragement, praise and criticism have made us better. Thanks for that. We look forward to building great things for you over at Twitter."

And when hearing such acquisition news, an FAQ is essential for Posterous users about the Security Of their content and it's reliability.
