Yes. Apple Thursday Previewed Newest Desktop OS, 'Mac OS X Mountain Lion'. You will love this OS if you are a hardcore iOS fan since Mountain Lion has a high accordance and liberal adaptations from Apple's famous Mobile Platform, iOS.

"Inspired By iPad. Re-imagined for Mac" : Those words are that you can see in Apple's official page for Mountain Lion. Features included in this OS also makes this sentence perfect for a Mountain Lion description. Let us have a look at Mountain Lion's features and feel the presence of liberal adaption from iOS. Apple have published some screen shots and videos of Mountain Lion in their page.

iCloud
We have already became familiar with this term when Apple's iOS powered iPhone 4s was launched. iCloud is an application which helps you to sync your all documents and data to Apple's powerful servers and keep it much safely. A lot of good reply was developed for this service. That may be the reason for including iCloud in Mountain Lion.

What you have to do for using iCloud is just signing in with your Apple ID and syncing all data in you Mac such as reminders, calendars, and other documents. After this, whatever you change, edit, delete in your Mac will be repeated without no change in your iOS devices and vice versa.

Messages
Its another adaptation from iOS. Messages was a feature which was included with iOS and became popular. It had a resemblance to Blackberry's BBM as a service for costumers to interact with each other.Messages will let Mountain Lion users message each other, as well as iPad and iPhone users on iOS 5, and vice versa. Users can exchange photos, videos, documents and contacts. It also lets you message groups of friends. Messages replaces the aging iChat application in previous versions of OS X. You can Download Messages Beta From Here
You can see when your message has been delivered and when someone’s typing a reply. Turn on read receipts, and they’ll see when you've read a message. With end-to-end encryption, your messages stay safe and private. And you can start a conversation on your Mac and pick it up on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Reminders
Reminders included in Mountain Lion lets users create lists of things to do, and set up due dates for each item. Users can then check off items that have been completed. Thanks to iCloud, items sync across all devices. This lets you create a new to-do item on your Mac and be reminded by your iOS device when you're away from the computer.

 Notes
Mountain Lion also adds Notes, a feature pulled over to the desktop from iOS. The OS X version of Notes adds images and attachments. Notes can be easily managed through the desktop application. Again, through iCloud, users can sync between their Mac and various iOS devices. It's a nice way to keep track of, um, recipes, among other things.

Notification Centre
Notification Centre is a liberal borrowed feature from iOS. This feature can help you to view all your notification from Apple services through a click. It will consolidate all of your notifications--iMessages, emails, alerts--into one list. Its prepared for the minimum level of interruption from PC when you do your works.
Notification banners appear on your desktop and disappear quickly so they don’t interrupt what you’re doing. Swipe to the left, and you’ll see all your notifications in a simple, ordered list. So you’ll always know what’s up as soon as it comes up.

Airplay Mirroring
With AirPlay Mirroring, you can stream what’s on your Mac to your HDTV via Apple TV. Show web pages and videos to friends on the couch. Share lessons with a classroom. Present to a conference room. It’s a big deal for your Mac. And for everyone around it. This service will be much useful in so many situations including those mentioned before. So you could sync display and all with two Apple devices.
AirPlay Mirroring sends a video stream with audio to your HDTV and scales what’s on your Mac to fit. For a sharper image, match your display resolution to your Apple TV.

Gatekeeper
Security is everything even there is all features. With security and privacy protecting features, an OS is nothing. And thats why Apple have already put an software named Gatekeeper to keep your Mac Space clean and lean. This security system will help you from downloading malicious of damaged software from Internet to your device.
And it gives you control over which applications to download and run on your Mac. Now you can choose from three security options. You can download and run applications from anywhere, just as in OS X Lion. To be even safer, download and run apps from the Mac App Store and apps with a Developer ID. Or download and run only apps from the Mac App Store

Game Centre
Apple has proved that they love games and lovers by adding Game Centre feature in Mountain Lion. You only need a Game Centre Account to play games through this service which can be owned by an Apple ID. Users can play with friends or meet random players or check worldwide leader boards to see who the top players are.

In Applications
Applications are important if its on PC of Mobiles/Tablets. Apple have included a genuine way to share things through their apps. You may find a share button and you can spread the word in a click. You can share links, photos, and videos, too. Send links from Safari. Send your notes via Mail and Messages. Post photos to Flickr. Send videos to Vimeo. And tweet just about anything.
Most of the Mountain Lion apps are capable of twitter integration and you could tweet anything through buttons.

Although Mountain Lion is awesome with newly included features. Its also apt for a description 'A Mac Version Of iOS.' This OS is available in Developer Preview Version And   you Can Download Mountain Lion From Here. Mac OS X Mountain Lion debuts this summer.
