| Wikipedia Faces A Big Trouble |
Wikipedia has suspended at least 10 accounts linked to the public relations firm Bell Pottinger as it investigates allegations of content manipulation. Mr.Ireland said that the account was adding positive content and removing negative content from entries about or making reference to several Bell Pottinger clients. And this had became an big threat to the reliability of Wikipedia, Free Encyclopedia.
Bell Pottinger is one of Britain's largest lobbying and public relations companies. This week it came under fire after the Bureau of Investigative Journalism reported that the firm had written a speech delivered to the UN by the Sri Lankan president. When this was asked to Bell Pottinger, they had remarked that "they had done editing but didn't tries to remove negative and add positive content about their clients". And since those accounts has been suspended from Wikipedia its secure. But it remains a question If The Other Public Relation Companies are acting like these, how could trust such an non-profit organization like Wikipedia which is known as the Free Encyclopedia
